Scale Models runs regular racing nights on Monday and Thursday. Monday nights are for the juniors, with structured racing of several different classes of slot cars, including club car race night and a family night, where members of the family are encouraged to come along and compete.

Club competes on Thursday nights. Currently, five different classes are offered, each with its own rules. Members can race in all five classes, or simply select whichever classes that they wish. The overall Club Championship is determined from results in all of the classes.

1.Bodies to be resin or converted plastic body of a prototypical car. Must be a GP car run before December 1966, no 1967 or Indy cars.

2.Body must be fitted to the chassis in such a way as to truly represent car, it can not appear to be lowered.

3.Chassis must be a Penelope Pitlane Slimline chassis with no extensions to the sides.

4.Any slim line motor may be used.4

5.Any wheel and tyre combination that gives a true representation of the original. Overall diameter of wheels and tyre must be no less than 20mm, and a maximum 8mm wide.

6.Maximum width of track will be 55mm

7.Car must comply to an ‘all up' minimum weight of 65 grams, if car is under weight ballast must be added to bring it up to the required level.
